Happy New Year!

Can you believe 2015 is pretty much gone!  I know everyone is working on their goals for 2016 but can I give my 2 cents!  Before setting those goals...
A new year is a good time to sit and reflect the year past.  Reflect on things in life that went well, went awesome and of course went terrible wrong.  Reflect on the good, the bad and even the ugly!  Everything that you reflect upon can be used to build you stronger!  Then seek God and ask for help in setting this new goal for 2016.  He might surprise you in what He sees in you! Don't make this long list of things you feel you must accomplish in 2016.  The truth is, if you make a long list - there is a good chance it will stress you out.
So my 2 cents is...seek God first and then set your goal!  If you are truly seeking His will, remember He desires you to be happy but He is able to see so much more in you than you will ever see!  So be ready because boy does God have something cool planned for you!

It was an amazing day for L.E.G.S today!  We ran our first official race and it was a 10K!  What amazing support the ministry "L.E.G.S." brings to all of us!  God is good and it is only with God's strength that we have the ability to run!!  Way to go L.E.G.S!!!

Yes you can!

Yes Yes Yes we are all busy this time of year...BUT remember we MUST take time for us!  I know getting up early is not everyone's cup of tea, but sometimes it's a must this time of year due to schedules!  We might have to change our times and rearrange our normal run schedule, but don't make that as an excuse NOT to run!  Overcome it!  Taking care of you helps all who are around you!  Don't think of it as being selfish when you need to get out for a run (trust me your husband's know when you need to get out  for a run), think of it as making everyone else around you happy.  Because running brings calming to every busy schedule!  Trust me, runners must run or we get grumpy!  So ladies remember to always make a little bit of time for yourself during this busy time of year!  Remember when you think you can't, think of someone who truly can't and run for them!  We can not take what we CAN do for granite!  God has blessed us to be able to get out there, so do it!
